![]() ![]() ![]() I remembered that OBJ was the easiest format, but no animation, and FBX was the format that would save models, scene elements like lights, etc, animation and textures all together, so that’s where I started. So I dug into my brain to try to remember that formats could take a 3D model and a 3D scene from one program to another. I’m not going to spend any money on a Modo subscription. I would use Modo 801 in Rosetta mode, since I paid good money for it, but it crashes 5 seconds after opening it every single time. ![]() The full scene has 1346 frames at 23.976 fps. Doing that in my PC would take months, which is why I want to find a way to bring it into Blender 4, because for that I have a Mac Studio M1 Ultra that should be much faster. But I have this nice scene I had worked on in 2013 that I would like to render at a higher quality. I abandoned 3D modeling and all of that about a decade ago, so I only remember the basic concepts. Doing a search for this online I came up with tons of results on how to best transition from Modo to Blender, as in using it, but not about transferring a full scene relatively accurately. ![]()
